This comment from Garrett Durland - Wow, I remember back to 1969/1970 when I had Mrs. Layton and Mrs. Baum in 4th and 5th grades at Park Avenue. I do recall me and my classmates thinking of them as "old"; I wonder when their careers started? I remember to this day: "Mrs. Layton, can I go to the bathroom?" She would say, "I don't know...CAN you?" I would have to say, "May I go... |
