Ruth F. Durland 8/3/2015 Ruth F. Durland, a lifetime resident of Warwick, passed away on August 3, 2015 at home with her family and in the arms of her husband. Born on October 11, 1937 in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late H. Barney Feagles and Esther Long Feagles, and married to Kenneth L. Durland. Before retiring, Ruth was a secretary with Seely & Durland Insurance in Warwick. Her activities and contributions to Warwick were numerous. A lifetime member of the Warwick Reformed Church, serving as a Deacon and member of both the vocal and bell choirs for many years. She was an active member of the Backpack Snack Attack program; a charter member of the Warwick Jaynsees; former secretary of the Warwick Valley Humane Society; a volunteer with Meals On Wheels; a longtime member of The Warwick Valley Chorale, and as an avid gardener, was a charter member of the Warwick Valley Gardeners. In addition to her family, she loved golf, sand between her toes, and boating adventures with Ken. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth L. Durland of Warwick; her daughters, Susan Ernhout and her husband Terry of Warwick, Carolyn Sicheri and her husband William of Warwick, Martha Ehlers and her husband Charles of Sparrowbush, and Pamela Reda of Warwick. Also her step-children, Stuart S. Durland and his wife Carolyn of Sugar Loaf; Garrett W. Durland and his wife Rachel of Warwick; and Bethanne Smith and her husband Roger of Highland Lakes, NJ. In addition, a special love for her grandchildren, Andrew, Christopher, Ashley and Abigail and step grandchildren, Bryan, Eric, Justin, Benjamin, Lucas, Jacque and Brianna, and a great grandson, Erik Devlin. She also leaves a sister, Elizabeth Brown and a brother, Robert. B. Feagles, Sr. and their families. Visitation will be Sunday, August 16th from 3:00 to 4:00 pm at the Warwick Reformed Church, 16 Maple Ave., Warwick, NY. A Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 pm at the church. Internment at Warwick Cemetery following the service.
