Sam BrAen trucks were a ubiquitous presence in the Village of Warwick during the 1950s. Exactly why I am unsure. Obviously they were involved in providing mixed concrete for local construction projects. But where, specifically? ... from Dispatch Ad

In the fifties, Sam Braen had their local offices in the rented L&HR station on Railroad Avenue, and had a large ready-mix plant behind the railroad's shop building at the end of River Street- hence, the trucks.
