Previous Page Donna gave me an original of this yearbook picture in the Spring of 1961, when ¬¬I was a sophomore in college. I cherished it for obvious reasons. One day, somewhat later, she saw it on my desk and I said how much I liked having her picture to look at as I did my homework. Donna remarked that she didn’t like that picture at all. This seemed preposterous to me. I held it up, looked at it and thought, something like, “wow, gorgeous.” I handed it to Donna and defied her to, “Tell me that’s not beautiful.” She looked at it.
