James “Jimmy” Thomas Logan of Hendersonville, N.C., died on Saturday, April 18, 2020. He was 75 years old. He was born in Warwick, N.Y., on Feb. 22, 1945, the son of John and Gearlin Logan. He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth Wehman-Logan. He leaves two sons, James Logan Jr. of Hendersonville, N.C., and Jason Logan of Ormand Beach, Fla.; and one daughter, Allison Logan-Reynolds of Ormand Beach, Fla;, and two step-sons Scott W. Coloney and Michael Warnock and one step-daughter Kathryn A. Coloney-Guthrie. He has 11 grandchildren: Joshua, Brianna, Zachary, Ben, Xavier, Cohen, Bryn, Caleb, Esther, William and Judah; and two great-grandchildren: Addison and Olivia Rose. He was pre-deceased by his siblings: John Logan Jr., Gwen Kelly, Barbara Snell, Richard Logan, Charles Logan, Douglas Logan, Leon Logan, Anthony Mapp and Jerry Benton. He is survived by one sister, Marjorie Rachel White of Waxhaw, N.C., and one sister-in-law, Lucille Logan of Warwick, N.Y. He is also survived by three foster brothers: Darryle Jones, Michael Mapp and Gregory Benton, who had a special relationship with Jimmy. He also is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He is a graduate of both Warwick Valley High School and the State University of New York at Oswego. He was a motivational speaker for those dealing with addiction.
