Herbie Watch. A speedy halfback that I worshiped as a small child (in the mid Forties) and beyond. He was the older brother of Jimmy Watch (early Sixties) another speedy WHS halfback. The Watch brothers were wonderful football players. More than that, ..as we would say in the Sixties, beautiful people.

Also included here are Dave Wheeler and Ed Wright, both standout fullbacks in the mid fifties.
